unfortunately, support seems to be under the impression that gw is populated by 8 to 12 year olds.

All players I know are between 20 and 40. I've been told that I'm 29, but I look way younger, and I don't trust my parents, maybe they lied about my age.
The oldest I know should be over 61 this year.
The youngest I know was 11, but he got reported for being under the age and playing without parental consent, he could not prove such consent, and got banned (no harm done, he was a little jerk). Well, actually, he got banned for the way he complained when he was asked for consent, XDDD.

there are quite a few kids who play, but also a lot of older people too. it is quite a good mix. should be able to find guilds that only recruit older people if that is what u are interested in ;-)

I'm 29, frankly I try to avoid groups with kids if I can, it's one of the detractors for me from this game.

27 here.

My best friend (also irl) is 43, he's officer in one of the guilds in my alliance and he's among the youngest members there.

Youngest in our guild is 7 years old, GM's son! Oldest is 74. And I'm old enough to be your grandfather and probably am.

Most of our members are college age and up, 30's married with or without children.

In this game I don't think age matters. WoW used to be much the same way, don't know about now.

I am 17, and surprisingly enough, not all people my age play this game, they're either playing WoW or hanging out with friends.

I am actually surprised there are alot of oldies around here, seems Guild Wars is more for a mature audience, a massive contrast from uh...how should I say it...Juvenile playerbase of WoW.

Hmm I don't know if its because my guild have a 'maturity' policy or what but nearly I play with in game and in my alliance are between 17 and 35. I've happily played with a retired couple and several 'mums and dads.' For me its much rarer to come across people bellow 16, i'm not sure if that is because my general experience of younger players has been sadly frustrating and so I avoid anyone displaying a 'younger' mentality or if they just never get far past the tutorial stages but to me the playerbase certainly seems much older than teens!

I'm 20 and prefer the mature age group, 17-18+ is usually an ideal group for me.
